Student Representative

PTSA Student Representative
WHS PTSA wants to partner with one to two WHS students to be our PTSA student representative for the school year. To qualify, you must be a student at Woodinville High School and a WHS PTSA member (scholarships are available). Student representatives act as liaisons between the students and the PTSA and help share information between the two. This looks great on college applications!

Qualifications and Term:

  • Must be a student at Woodinville High School for the current school year

  • Must be a member of Woodinville High School PTSA for the current school year (scholarships available upon request)

  • Appointed by the PTSA president for a term of one-year (may serve multiple one-year terms)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a connection between the student population and the PTSA of WHS by:

  • Share ASB and club programs and events updates with the PTSA

  • Share PTSA updates with WHS ASB (as allowed)

  • Attend PTSA meetings

​

Be a student voice to:

  • Share student interests and concerns​

 

Student Representative Benefits:

  • Leadership role to list on job applications, college applications, and scholarship applications

  • Receive service hours (as approved by WHS administration)

  • Gain leadership and communication skills

  • Introduction to the legislative process and the importance of advocacy

  • Develop and implement programs and events that are relevant to the student body

  • Bring new ideas and perspective to PTSA programs and events

  • Promote student membership in the PTSA
