Разнообразие / Равенство / Инклюзивность (DEI)
The Woodinville High School PTSA believes that every student and family deserves to feel welcomed, valued, respected, and connected within our school community. We are committed to fostering an environment where diverse perspectives, backgrounds, experiences, and identities are recognized as strengths that enrich our Falcon community.
We strive to promote equity by identifying and reducing barriers to participation, ensuring access to programs and opportunities, and supporting initiatives that help all students reach their full potential. We seek to create a culture of belonging where every student, family, staff member, and community member feels seen, heard, and supported.
The WHS PTSA works toward these goals by:
-
Translating the WHS PTSA website into 8 languages spoken in the Northshore School District community
-
Encouraging participation and leadership opportunities for all families and students.
-
Providing scholarships and financial assistance to help ensure access to PTSA-sponsored programs and events.
-
Supporting grants and programs that address educational, community, and underfunded needs.
-
Listening to and learning from students, families, staff, and community members with diverse experiences and perspectives.
-
Sharing information and resources that help families engage with the school community.
-
Partnering with school staff and community organizations to support student well-being, belonging, and success.
We recognize that building an inclusive community is an ongoing effort. The WHS PTSA is committed to continuous learning, thoughtful action, and meaningful engagement as we work to ensure that every Falcon has the opportunity to thrive.
